About the role

The Resident Services Coordinator II at Mercy Housing plays a crucial role in supporting residents' stability and success. Key responsibilities include leading on-site programs, tracking outcomes, connecting residents with necessary resources, identifying barriers, and building partnerships with community organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Collect required data for designated program components and record in the Mercy Housing database accurately and promptly.
  • Evaluate outcomes of programs and services delivered regularly as required.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of residents through needs assessments, community meetings, and other activities to offer assistance and guide them towards appropriate services and resources.
  • Participate in and/or lead activities within Mercy Housing and collaborate with partner agencies to enhance professional capacity and working relationships.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years of experience in community development, social services, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two (2) years experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
  • Two (2) years experience working with senior and developmentally disabled populations.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • Experience conducting community assessments, applying conflict management principles, and organizing community groups, events, or programs.
  • Experience supervising staff.

Skills

  • Work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate high verbal, writing, and listening skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Maintain confidentiality and obtain appropriate release of information as necessary.
  • Able to work with people facing mental health, disability, substance abuse, legal, and financial challenges.

Pay & Benefits

Pay: $22-23.50/hour, dependent on experience.
