About the role
The Resident Services Coordinator II at Mercy Housing plays a crucial role in supporting residents' stability and success. Key responsibilities include leading on-site programs, tracking outcomes, connecting residents with necessary resources, identifying barriers, and building partnerships with community organizations.
Responsibilities
- Collect required data for designated program components and record in the Mercy Housing database accurately and promptly.
- Evaluate outcomes of programs and services delivered regularly as required.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of residents through needs assessments, community meetings, and other activities to offer assistance and guide them towards appropriate services and resources.
- Participate in and/or lead activities within Mercy Housing and collaborate with partner agencies to enhance professional capacity and working relationships.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in community development, social services, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
- Two (2) years experience working with senior and developmentally disabled populations.
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
- Experience conducting community assessments, applying conflict management principles, and organizing community groups, events, or programs.
- Experience supervising staff.
Skills
- Work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrate high verbal, writing, and listening skills.
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Maintain confidentiality and obtain appropriate release of information as necessary.
- Able to work with people facing mental health, disability, substance abuse, legal, and financial challenges.
Pay & Benefits
Pay: $22-23.50/hour, dependent on experience.
