Resident Services Aide (HHA) Friday and Saturday 3P-11P

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents manage Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Escorting residents to meals and recreational activities
• Safeguarding residents' physical, emotional, and psycho-social well-being
• Providing support in the Wellness area to ensure the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of residents
• Fulfilling all policies and procedures, and following the instructions of the Nurse Shift Supervisor and the Director of Wellness

Requirements

• Must have a Certified Nursing Assistant, Personal Care Attendant, or Home Health Aide certification
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
• Must be able to speak and read in English
• Previous experience with geriatric population preferred, providing assistance with ADLs
• Must have a basic understanding of dementia, patience, professionalism, and the ability to adjust to different personalities and situations in a positive way
• Maintain reliability, care, and gentleness in touch and demeanor
• Maintain an abiding respect for the elderly and remain calm at all times

Qualifications
