Resident Project Representative
About the role
We’re seeking a Resident Project Representative to join our Water team in Buffalo, NY, supporting impactful water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between engineers and contractors, providing on-site observation for water and sewer main construction as well as associated civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, architectural, and controls work tied to treatment facility modifications.
- Document field conditions, collect and analyze operational and administrative data, and maintain accurate project records from construction through close-out.
- Work closely with clients, regulatory agencies, contractors, and the public, while assisting with shop drawing reviews, SWPPP inspections, field verification of contract compliance, preparation of record drawings, and close-out documentation.
- Recommend solutions to managers, produce accurate reports for others by collecting data from a variety of standard sources and inputting it into standard formats, interpret data and identify possible answers, implement improvements and provide feedback, contribute to well proposals by analyzing and interpreting geological/geophysical field data, follow the organization's HSE policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate risks and to safeguard the environment and the well-being of self and others, prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness, use performance management systems to improve personal performance.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- NICET Level II (2) Certification required
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction observation and/or construction management which includes water and sewer main utility construction
- NYSDOT inspection experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office

- Willing and able to travel throughout the state of NY

Pay
Salary Range: $28.00 - $47.00 based on experience and location.
