Team Overview

Aizer Health is expanding its Sunday specialty dental services and seeks current residents and fellows in Pediatric Dentistry to provide care on select Sundays. This opportunity is ideal for providers in residency programs seeking supplemental clinical hours, flexibility, and the chance to impact an underserved community. Schedule

  • Sundays: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Flexible scheduling: one to multiple Sundays per month
  • Additional weekdays may be available based on provider interest and patient demand

Responsibilities

Pediatric Dentist Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive preventive and restorative dental care for pediatric patients
  • Perform examinations, treatment planning, and patient education
  • Deliver behavior management and compassionate care to children and families
  • Diagnose and treat oral health conditions in pediatric populations
  • Collaborate with dental and medical teams to ensure coordinated care

General Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provider meetings
  • Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in accordance with organizational standards
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative support staff

Requirements

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Current New York State Dental License
  • DEA registration (if applicable)
  • Current Pediatric Dentistry residents or fellows in good standing; program approval required if applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a community health center or public health setting
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Experience with Dexis digital radiography
  • Bilingual skills

Pay & Benefits

  • $100-$120 per hour, commensurate with experience
