Resident Nursing Assistant
About the role
We are seeking a caring, compassionate, and dependable individual to join our care team as a Nursing Assistant. This role supports licensed nursing staff in providing high-quality care to residents in our skilled nursing facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, especially those requiring sitter care.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
- Support nursing staff with non-clinical tasks such as transporting residents, restocking supplies, and assisting during mealtimes.
- Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold resident rights and dignity.
Requirements/Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or caregiving setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and assist residents as needed.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to remain calm and attentive in challenging situations.

Work Schedule
PRN Pay Rate: $17.00 - $20.00 / hour depending on experience
