Resident Life Coordinator

Location: Tallgrass Creek by Erickson Senior Living, Overland Park, Kansas

About the role

Join our team as a Community Resources Coordinator to bring your passion for resident engagement to our campus. In this role, you will act as a resource for residents in the creation of activities and organizations within the community.

Responsibilities

• Partner with residents in the planning, promoting, and coordinating of activities and events in the community
• Perform preliminary work for monthly calendars
• Facilitate communication regarding activities among residents and staff
• Create flyers for events
• Write articles for community bulletins
• Arrange audio/visual equipment with vendors for presentations
• Serve as the information center for resident inquiries
• Support the resident management of Community Spiritual functions

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in service-related roles, including volunteer work or public service
• Previous experience working with senior citizens is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in Publisher, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

Pay

Starting at $23 per hour, based upon experience
