Job Overview

Terralume Signature Memory Care is a boutique community for individuals with Alzheimer's and other dementias, located off Wayzata Boulevard in Minnetonka. We are seeking compassionate professionals to join our team and make a difference.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including bathing, showering, foot and fingernail care, shaving, dressing assistance, hair care, feeding, toileting, and escorts for transfers.
• Provides health-related services under the direction of the Registered Nurse, including blood glucose monitoring, administering medication, taking and recording vital signs.
• Assists with life enrichment programs and activities, leading social events, activity programs, and wellness programming, and documents as required.
• Encourages and embraces the use of Dimensions program, attending trainings and utilizing best practices to enhance resident engagement.
• Serves meals and maintains a clean, inviting dining area, following meal serving schedules and resident dietary needs, and ensuring proper sanitation and dishwashing.
• Cleans resident and common areas as assigned, performing thorough cleaning tasks and maintaining housekeeping cart and storage area.
• Communicates resident requests and submits work orders as needed, and assists with light maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have less than 1 year of experience if under age 18, must be registered with the MN NAR, and possess a valid driver's license. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care and a positive attitude.

Pay

Compensation within the posted range is determined by various factors including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. The maximum of the range is not typical, and a sign-on bonus may be offered based on the approved program at the time of offer.
