Job Overview

Terralume Signature Memory Care is a boutique community dedicated to individuals living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Located off Wayzata Boulevard in Minnetonka, we are seeking compassionate and adaptable professionals to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with personal cares including bathing, showering, foot and fingernail care, shaving, dressing assistance, use of hearing aids and glasses, hair care, feeding, toileting, and escorts for transfers and use of mechanical lifts.
• Provides health-related services as directed: assists with treatments, administers medication, takes and records vital signs, and documents as required.
• Assists with life enrichment programs and activities: leads social events, activity programs, and wellness programming, and encourages the use of Dimensions program.
• Serves meals and maintains the dining area: follows meal serving schedules, meets dietary needs, uses proper safety and sanitation techniques, cleans dishes, and prepares meal trays.
• Cleans resident and common areas: performs thorough cleaning, maintains housekeeping cart, and responds to resident requests.
• Communicates with residents and staff, and assists with light maintenance tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience if under age 18 must be on the MN NAR registry.

Pay

Compensation within the posted range may vary based on various factors including skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. A sign-on bonus may also be offered, contingent upon approval and availability at the time of offer.

Schedule

This schedule includes 64 hours every two weeks, full-time, overnight shift, with a shift differential available. Every other weekend and holiday rotation is also part of the responsibilities.
