Responsibilities
- Provide overall construction administration of contract
- Lead and conduct progress meetings and safety meetings
- Manage direct reports including Inspectors and Office Engineer
- Ensure contractor’s work meets compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and safety standards
- Reviewing contractor performance and compliance with safety requirements
- Preparing/reviewing correspondence, maintenance of project records, preparing change order documents, preparing progress reports
- Monitor schedule, cost, and quality
- Serve as a technical resource and problem solver in the field and office
- Assisting Office Engineer as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 15+ years of REI/CI experience on infrastructure projects
- 5+ years of experience working on NYCDDC projects preferred
- New York State Professional Engineer License Required
- Bachelor’s in Engineering Required
- OSHA 30
- Experience working with public agencies required
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work respectfully with multi-discipline teams and maintain composure under deadlines.
