Resident Engineer - Electro-Mechanical Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair to keep equipment running at peak performance.
• Configure and integrate hardware such as robots, servers, conveyors, and scanners.
• Conduct hardware and system testing, perform integration tests, and resolve technical issues.
• Aid clients during and after deployment, responding promptly to service requests.
• Implement automation systems including AGV, ACR, AMR, and conveyor equipment.
• Support software testing and WMS integration efforts.
• Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.
• Manage spare parts ordering and inventory, ensuring availability and maintaining quality control.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with AGV, ACR, or AMR implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with WMS integration and PLCs.
• Understanding of common networking concepts such as VPNs, firewalls, and routers.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting experience.
• Experience supporting client operations post-deployment.
• Knowledge of SQL and systems integration.
