Resident Doctor General Surgical

About the role

We’re looking for General Surgical or Acute Medicine Resident Doctor to join our medical team at The Wellington Hospital. This position covers general wards and day-case areas, acting on Consultant-Led decisions in partnership with highly specialist Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Pre-op and post-op treatments
• Clinical assessments
• Ward rounds
• Clerking admissions
• Assessing referrals
• Providing immediate medical care
• Attending and leading on emergency cardiac arrest calls
• Other instances where patients need your support

Requirements

• GMC Registration and License to Practice in the UK
• MBBS medical qualification
• A current ALS certificate
• NHS Trained minimum completed year of 3 years specialty/IMT/CT Training
• Post Grad Exam MRCP or MRCS desirable
