About the role

The Resident Care Director (RCD) serves as the clinical leader for a senior living community, responsible for overseeing health, wellness, and care coordination to deliver safe, high-quality, resident-centered services.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the nursing team and care programs
• Conducting resident assessments and developing Individualized Service Plans (ISP)
• Monitoring resident condition changes and coordinating with physicians and clinical partners
• Overseeing medication management and infection control programs
• Leading CLIA and infection control initiatives as applicable
• Driving Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) efforts
• Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and nursing regulations
• Recruiting, hiring, training, and performance managing clinical staff
• Managing staffing, scheduling, and departmental budgets
• Collaborating with sales to assess move-in appropriateness

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Clinical leadership and nursing management experience in senior living or healthcare settings
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and infection control protocols
