About the Role
As the Resident Care Manager, you will enrich lives every day by managing, mentoring and coordinating a team of top-performing CNAs, Med Aides, and caregivers to deliver superior service for residents living in Assisted Living. You will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will serve as the first point of contact for residents, physicians, agency staff, and families. Your role will also function as a support to health services care team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor Medication Aides and Caregivers.
- Assure that health services caregiver team members provide optimal resident service on day-to-day basis.
- Effectively communicate with residents, their family members, and their significant others regarding resident care.
- Assist with multidisciplinary service plans for new and current residents; Ensure service plans are completed according to recommended agenda.
- Partner with Health Services Director and Staffing Coordinator to recruit, onboard and retain new caregiver team members.
- Proactively schedule and send resident care plan reminders to resident or resident families.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in health administration, social work, nursing, psychology, gerontology, or related field preferred.
- Previous caregiving experience preferred.

- Ability to observe resident behavior and communicate such in an intelligent and professional manner.
- Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members and visitors.
