Resident Care Director - Interim - Cumberland Crossing Manor

About the role

The Resident Care Director is responsible for the development of nursing service objectives, performance standards of nursing personnel, and nursing policies and procedures. The role is accountable for compliance with federal, state and local regulations within his/her span of control and will periodically work the floor in order to monitor nursing staff, maintain nursing skills, and ensure adequate staffing.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements nursing service objectives, performance standards, and policies and procedures.
• Maintains nursing skills and ensures adequate staffing.
• Makes rounds to monitor nursing staff and assess resident care.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A registered nurse (RN) license in PA with at least 2 years of experience in long-term care.
• Pennsylvania Assisted Living Administrator Certification is preferred.
• Working knowledge of medical records software (PointClickCare is preferred), internet, spreadsheet, and word processing software, and virtual meeting platforms.
• CPR certification required based on AHA standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with team members, residents, families, professional providers, and all others.

Pay

$85,000 per year; depending on experience.
