About the role
Fay J. Lindner Residences is an assisted living community on a 34-acre campus in Long Island, NY, sharing space with the renowned Gurwin Jewish Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. The community offers 201 apartments, including a 14-unit Memory Care Wing.
Responsibilities
- Work as Resident Care Coordinators part-time on Sunday and Monday from 7:00a.m. - 3:15p.m.
- Will be trained as a Medication Aide during the introductory period and work as a Medication Aide on an as-needed basis.
- Basic First Aid training is required.
- One to two years’ prior experience with the geriatric and dementia population preferred.
- Experience providing daily support services such as bathing, dressing, and general assistance is required.
- Previous assisted living or nursing home experience is strongly preferred.
