Responsibilities

• Perform non-direct patient care activities under the supervision of registered/licensed nurses.
• Feed and serve residents as directed.
• Deal with pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle constantly changing situations.
• Handle a variety of people, stressful situations, and conflicts.
• Follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations, and procedures of any licensing board or agency.
• Comply with Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Complete 8 hours of Food Handlers/Feeding Assistant training within 30 days of hire.
• Pass BLS including competence in performing Heimlich Maneuver within 30 days of hire.
• Starting wage is $17.50/hourly, actual offered wage is based on applicable experience.
