Resident Care Assistant - Memory Care ( RCA )

About the role

Eagle Crest Communities is seeking a Resident Care Assistant to support the residents in their memory care apartments. The Memory Care Units are designed to provide care and support to older adults who experience memory impairment. Positions are available full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares, daily activities while helping them maintain as much independence and dignity as possible
• Other responsibilities could include medication management, light housekeeping, and a variety of other tasks
• Provide dressing, bathing and bathroom assistance
• Transport residents to meals and activities, documentation of daily care, etc.
• Communicate and interact with residents, their families, and other departments to create an environment that focuses on resident safety and well-being

Requirements

• Previous direct care experience, preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant training and/or experience (any State), preferred
• CBRF Certification, preferred

Qualifications for Higher Starting Pay

• Previous direct care experience
• Certified Nursing Assistant training and/or experience
• CBRF Certification(s)

Pay

Starting rate is between $18.50 and $22.25 + per hour, based on your experience and qualifications. Increases upon orientation completion.

Schedule

• Full-Time: 68+ hours per 2 week pay period
• Part-Time: 13+ hours per 2 week pay period
• Casual Call: Build your own part time schedule - 3 shifts a month; 1 weekend per month
• Available Shifts: Days of the week may vary and will include varied weekends and holidays. These positions enjoy every other weekend and every other holiday off!

Pre-Employment Information

• Background checks will be run after an offer has been made, and offers are contingent upon successfully passing a background check.
• Communicable Disease Screening must also be completed if your position requires working within our communities.
