Resident Care Assistant

About the role

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers to support residents with daily care needs in a team-oriented environment. No prior experience required—we’re willing to train the right candidates. This is a great opportunity for entry-level applicants looking to start a rewarding career in healthcare while gaining hands-on experience and ongoing support.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with daily personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable environment while encouraging resident dignity, choice, and independence
• Observe residents for changes in physical or cognitive condition, document care provided, and share updates with nursing staff and the care team
• Offer additional support to residents with higher care needs, using patience and compassion to promote engagement, comfort, and emotional well-being

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must speak fluent English
• Must be compassionate and eager to learn!

Pay

$18-$18.50/hour + credit for experience

Schedule

Full-time, Part-time, Casual schedules available | Holiday rotations required
