Resident Care Assistant

About the role

Responsible for providing high-quality resident care in a supportive environment. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and maintaining a safe and clean living space.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the healthcare team
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Maintain cleanliness and order in resident rooms and common areas
• Participate in regular training sessions to enhance caregiving skills

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Passing background check and drug screening

Skills

• Basic computer literacy
• First aid and CPR certification
