Position Details
Position: Resident Care Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: Galleria Woods Senior Living, Hoover, AL
Unit: 24-Bed Assisted Living Community
Schedule: 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., Every Other Weekend
Pay Rate: $12.50 – $13.25 per hour

What You'll Do
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Supporting residents with mobility and transfers according to individualized service plans
- Escorting residents to meals, activities, and appointments within the community
- Serving meals in the dining room or resident apartments
- Observing and reporting changes in residents’ physical condition, eating habits, or behavior
- Promoting a safe, comfortable, and caring environment
- Providing services in accordance with company policies and state and federal regulations
Qualifications
- Preferred: Current Alabama CNA certification
- CPR and First Aid certification required
- One year or more of experience as a CNA, Resident Care Assistant, or in a related caregiving role
- A genuine passion for working with older adults
- Excellent attendance and dependability
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
