Resident Care Aide (Full-Time)(2nd Shift) - Colonial Gardens

Responsibilities

• Aid residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Bathe, dress, groom, toile, position, transfer, move, and manage incontinence care for residents.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks, and activities.
• Serve meals and clear tables in the dining room.
• Respond to resident emergency call systems.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions to the Resident Care Coordinator or their designee.
• Communicate politely and professionally with residents and their families.
• Keep required resident care documentation according to state regulations and company policies.
• Transport residents when necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED, as required by state regulations.
• At least 18 years old.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Experience working with seniors is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to make decisions in the resident's best interest.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
