Key Responsibilities
- Dignified ADL Support: Provide comprehensive, hands-on assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and transfers, always prioritizing resident comfort and autonomy.
- Clinical Observation: Diligently monitor and track changes in resident physical condition, behavior, and vital signs; serve as a vital link by promptly reporting observations to the supervising nurse.
- Medication Assistance: Support residents with medication reminders or administration as permitted under CBRF regulations and facility protocols.
- Engagement & Wellness: Foster social interaction by encouraging and assisting residents with scheduled activities, therapy programs, and community events.
- Environmental Excellence: Maintain a safe, hygienic, and organized living space for residents, including room tidying and linen management.
- Digital Documentation: Ensure all care services and resident updates are recorded accurately and promptly in the facility’s electronic documentation system.
- Compliance Advocacy: Strictly adhere to all local, state, and federal healthcare guidelines to ensure the unit operates at the highest level of regulatory excellence.
Qualifications
- Certification: Must be CBRF Certified in the state of Wisconsin.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Leadership Qualities: Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while remaining a reliable, proactive team player.
- Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills required for electronic charting and communication.
- Experience: Previous long-term care or assisted living experience is strongly preferred; however, we welcome heart-led individuals ready to grow with us.
