Resident Assistant (RA)

About the role

We are seeking dedicated Resident Assistants (RA) to join our Hillview team at American Lutheran Homes. Positions are available on Full-Time, Part-Time AM, PM, NOC, and Casual shifts, with hourly rates ranging from $16.00 to $21.50 depending on experience and shift.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services such as manicures, bathing, and dressing to individuals needing assistance.
• Facilitate daily orientation sessions for new residents.
• Cook and serve meals/snacks, and clean kitchen and dining areas.
• Report to the next shift with updates on resident progress or changes.
• Assist with medication administration, charting, and health monitoring (blood pressure, weight, temperature).
• Answer and transfer phone calls appropriately, and verbally communicate with residents, families, pharmacists, medical staff, and other facility personnel.
• Arrange for transfers to medical facilities if necessary.
• Handle and maintain confidentiality of resident records.
• Present a positive image of the organization to residents, clients, co-workers, and the public.
• Document all care and needs provided.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
