Resident Assistant (PCA) - Weekend Program

About the role

The Resident Assistant in Personal Care provides compassionate, direct care to residents while promoting their dignity, independence, safety, and overall well-being. This position is performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• U.S. High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Current hands-on CPR certification required, or willingness to obtain certification
• Current DHS certification required, or willingness to obtain certification

Responsibilities

• Addresses the personal hygiene needs of residents
• Provides incontinent care as needed
• Assists in transporting residents who require assistance
• Distributes food trays, makes beds, and answers call bells
• Keeps resident's room neat and tidy
• Completes and documents vital signs, weights, and heights of residents
• Monitors and reports any skin or health changes of residents
