Resident Assistant - Part Time Weekend Days - River Heights

• 16 hours/pay period
• 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
• Every other weekend and holiday requirement

Pay

Range: $18.50 - $23.65/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.

As a Resident Assistant

You’ll be at the heart of our community, providing hands-on support to residents while fostering meaningful connections. Whether assisting with daily activities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment, or simply being a friendly face, you’ll play a key role in helping residents live each day with dignity, joy, and companionship.

Job Requirements

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
• Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
• Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Aid in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
• Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
• Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff.
• Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

Additional Requirements

• Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required
• Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness
• Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living)
• Ability to pass a state-required background study
• Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position
• Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors
