Hourly, non-exempt position within the Nursing department.
Schedule
Part-time: 16 hours per pay period, 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including every other weekend and holiday.
Pay
Pay range: $18.50 - $23.65/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Incentive pay of $5 per hour for shifts picked up outside the regular schedule block.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility
- Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences
- Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life
- Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces
- Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well-being to nursing staff
- Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care
Requirements
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills
- Clear and compassionate communication abilities
- Commitment to serving with excellence and integrity
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal care assistant, or similar role is preferred but not required
- Critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal effectiveness
- Minnesota or Wisconsin CNA certification (preferred and may be required for some levels of assisted living)
- Ability to pass a state-required background study
- Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position
- Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors
