Resident Assistant or CNA - PART TIME 3-11PM

About the role

The Birches Assisted Living is seeking a part-time Resident Assistant to join their team. This position offers a flexible permanent schedule based on preferred days of the week.

Responsibilities

• Know our residents and their families by spending time getting to know them.
• Understand our Successful Aging community's philosophy, culture, and its language.
• Build positive and supportive relationships in the community to enhance the community culture.
• Engage residents and connect with them in a genuine, compassionate, and memorable way.
• Support our residents' in adopting a successful aging lifestyle and celebrate their accomplishments and efforts.
• Provide services as scheduled for assigned residents, including helping with activities of daily living such as bathing, oral care, grooming, clothing selection, dressing, undressing and changing, toileting, transferring, escorts, laundry, etc.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to safely wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate as a minimum. Certification as a nursing assistant (Certified Nursing Assistant) preferred but not required.
• Experience working with older adults preferred, and passion to support older adults required.
• On-the-job training provided.

Pay

PAY RANGE based on EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Minimum to Maximum: $16.00/hour- $18.00/hour
