As a Resident Assistant Lead

  • Provide direct resident care – assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, meals, and restorative care while maintaining dignity and respect.
  • Mentor and support team members – train, guide, and coach new and existing staff, promoting a positive and engaged work environment.
  • Act as a shift lead – serve as the primary point of contact during shifts, triaging staff and resident needs, ensuring communication flow, and collaborating with clinical teams. Ensure quality and compliance – maintain documentation, follow established best practices, and ensure care protocols align with resident preferences and regulatory standards.
  • Promote a positive culture – lead by example, foster teamwork, and create an environment where both residents and team members feel supported and valued.

Job Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant license in the state of Minnesota preferred (may be required for some levels of assisted living).
  • Experience in resident care, mentoring, or leadership roles preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lead, mentor, and collaborate with a diverse team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Able to pass state mandated background check.
  • Physical capability to perform all essential job functions.
  • Able to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with residents, families, and staff.
