Resident Assistant/CNA - Assisted Living

Job Summary

Morning Pointe Assisted Living Communities seeks a RESIDENT ASSISTANT/CNA to provide personal care, assist with activities of daily living, and enhance the wellness, lifestyle, and enjoyment of senior residents. This is a part-time position available on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.

Responsibilities

• Treat co-workers and residents with a genuine sense of kindness and care
• Approach challenging situations with patience, pleasantness, and grace

• Enjoy your work and understand its true purpose
• Accomplish tasks outside of normal assignments to maintain a quality care environment
• Participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Absorb and feed residents as necessary
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed

Requirements

• Can do attitude

• Reliable transportation and dependable work ethic
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to read and write
