Resident Assistant/CNA - Assisted Living

About the role

As a Resident Assistant/CNA, your work is essential to providing for the daily needs and activities of Morning Pointe residents. Our most successful Resident Assistants:

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet residents’ physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and spiritual needs with respect and dignity, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, and bed making
• Assist residents with meals and snacks; assist with setup, service, and feeding if necessary
• Perform housekeeping duties as needed
• Accomplish tasks outside of normal assignments to maintain a quality care environment
• Participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need

Requirements

• A “can do” attitude and enjoyment in caring for others
• Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to read and write
