Resident Assistant/CNA - Assisted Living

As a Resident Assistant/CNA, your work is essential to providing for the daily needs and activities of Morning Pointe residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with activities of daily living to meet the resident's physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs with respect and dignity
• This may include bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with setup, service and feeding if necessary
• Housekeeping duties as necessary
• Accomplish tasks outside of normal assignments whenever necessary to maintain a quality care environment for residents
• Participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• Reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills
• Able to read and write
• Reliable transportation and a dependable work ethic
• A "can do" attitude
• Enjoys caring for others
