Resident Assistant/CNA - Assisted Living

Job Summary

Morning Pointe Assisted Living Communities seeks a RESIDENT ASSISTANT/CNA for their 2nd shift. This position is essential in providing for the daily needs and activities of residents in a caring, secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Treat co-workers and residents with a genuine sense of kindness and care
• Approach challenging situations with patience, pleasantness, and grace
• Understand that honesty and ethics are an essential part of your success
• Enjoy your work and understand its true purpose
• Accomplish tasks outside of normal assignments to maintain a quality care environment for residents
• Participate in training opportunities and offer help to other areas and staff in need
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, perineal care, laundry, bed making, and other duties of care
• Aid residents with meals and snacks
• Assist with housekeeping duties as necessary

Requirements

• Reading, writing, and basic math and verbal communication skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to stand for long periods of time
• At least 18 years of age
• Able to read and write
