Resident Assistant
About the role
As a resident assistant (caregiver) in our assisted living residence, you will assist residents with personal cares, medication administration, meals, activities, housekeeping, and general supervision. You will provide a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment and make a difference in people's lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal cares
- Administer medications
- Support residents with meals and activities
- Perform housekeeping duties

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Desire to help those in need of assistance
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
Certified nursing assistants (CNA) and non-licensed caregivers are encouraged to apply. CNAs are paid at a CNA wage.
Training
On-the-job, paid training to become a caregiver (resident assistant) includes:
- Standard precautions
- Medication administration and management
- CBRF fire safety
- First aid and choking
Schedule
- Openings available on all shifts
- Casual and on-call opportunities available
- Every other weekend required
- Participation in a holiday rotation required
