Resident Assistant
About the role
As a resident assistant (caregiver) in our assisted living residence, you will assist residents with personal cares, medication administration, meals, activities, housekeeping, and general supervision. You will provide a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment and make a difference in people's lives. Certified nursing assistants (CNA) and non-licensed caregivers are encouraged to apply. CNAs are paid at a CNA wage.
Training
On-the-job, paid training to become a caregiver (resident assistant) includes:
- Standard precautions
- Medication administration and management
- CBRF fire safety
- First aid and choking
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
Schedule
- Part-time opportunities on PM, AM, and NOC shifts
- Full-time opportunities on AM and PM shifts
- Includes every other weekend and every other holiday
