Responsibilities
- assist residents with personal cares, medication administration, meals, activities, housekeeping, and general supervision
- make a difference in people's lives
Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- must be at least 18 years of age
- wish to help those in need of assistance
- ability to work every other weekend and holiday
Qualifications
- Certified nursing assistants (CNA) and non-licensed caregivers are encouraged to apply as well.
- CNAs are paid at a CNA wage.
- On-the-job, paid training to become a caregiver (resident assistant) includes:
- standard precautions
- medication administration and management
- CBRF fire safety
- first aid and choking
