About the role

Caressant Care is seeking a passionate Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) Co-ordinator to join their team in Lindsay, Ontario (McLaughlin Road).

Responsibilities

  • Assess and document resident needs using the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI)
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
  • Provide training and support to staff on RAI implementation
  • Conduct regular assessments and updates of resident profiles
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required

Requirements

  • Registered Practical Nurse, in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Minimum of three (3) years of clinical, project leadership or management experience
  • Proven ability to meet required deadlines
  • Demonstrated success leading new initiatives
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience with adult education strategies/facilitation
  • Previous experience presenting to groups
  • Well-organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Strong aptitude for detail-oriented work
  • The ability to work with and relate to interdisciplinary team members and other internal stakeholders
  • Strong problem-solving abilities

Qualifications

  • Experience with RAI software
  • Understanding of long-term care regulations and standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Benefits

Competitive wages and benefits, including a salary range of $64,000 - $76,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
