About the role
Caressant Care is seeking a passionate Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) Co-ordinator to join their team in Lindsay, Ontario (McLaughlin Road).
Responsibilities
- Assess and document resident needs using the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and policies
- Provide training and support to staff on RAI implementation
- Conduct regular assessments and updates of resident profiles
- Prepare reports and documentation as required
Requirements
- Registered Practical Nurse, in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical, project leadership or management experience
- Proven ability to meet required deadlines
- Demonstrated success leading new initiatives
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge and experience with adult education strategies/facilitation
- Previous experience presenting to groups
- Well-organized, with excellent time management skills
- Strong aptitude for detail-oriented work
- The ability to work with and relate to interdisciplinary team members and other internal stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving abilities
Qualifications
- Experience with RAI software
- Understanding of long-term care regulations and standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Benefits
Competitive wages and benefits, including a salary range of $64,000 - $76,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
