Residency Program Director-Pharmacy Administration-FT Day Shift

The Residency Program Pharmacy Supervisor 2 oversees the day-to-day operations and supervises pharmacy residents. They provide authoritative guidance to staff and personally handle complex cases. They also lead specialized education and public information classes, conduct clinical investigations of new drugs, and improve therapeutic and financial outcomes.
The Supervisor lectures twice a year to other medical professionals and publishes at least once every three years in a medical journal. They may also be a co-principal investigator on patient clinical research or an investigator on Pharmacy practice research. This position requires a minimum of four years of clinical experience as a licensed pharmacist, with a preference for two years of experience and a residency in Pharmacotherapy.
Qualifications
- Minimum four years of clinical experience as a licensed pharmacist, or two years experience & a Residency in Pharmacotherapy, Residency preferred
- Current BLS or ACLS certification
- Significant experience (more than 2 years) developing and implementing drug utilization programs for both inpatient and outpatient populations
- Effective presentation skills
