Responsibilities

The Residency Program Assistant oversees and directs the operational management of the accredited residency training programs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive understanding of national accreditation policies and hospital policies
  • Independent judgment in addressing a wide range of programmatic issues
  • Assisting with recruiting trainees and developing projects
  • Communicating with GME Manager, faculty, and trainees on various issues
  • Maintaining databases and analyzing administrative workflow
  • Assisting with long-range planning and internal/external program relations

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of office administration experience, preferably in a healthcare and/or education setting
  • Some college required, Bachelors degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize information and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Employment Status

Part Time < 60 Shift Days
