About the role
Seeking an Emergency Medicine Core Faculty member to teach, mentor, and oversee residency programs in a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision and ensure safe patient care across all sites.
- Teach and advise residents and fellows, supporting their educational and career development.
- Participate in curriculum development, resident assessments, and accreditation compliance in accordance with ACGME standards.
- Contribute to quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and scholarly activities.
- Engage in faculty recruitment, performance evaluations, and committee participation.
- Model professional behavior and foster an environment of inquiry and learning.
Requirements
- Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty with an active medical license.
- Experience in leadership, mentorship, and clinical education.
- Strong communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with relevant software applications and understanding of accreditation policies.
- Commitment to high-quality patient care, professionalism, and ethical standards.
