Reservoir Manager

What You’ll Do

• Analyze production, thermodynamic, geologic, and geophysical data to maximize steam supply and plant generation
• Troubleshoot complex plant, reservoir, and equipment performance issues
• Forecast steam supply, generation capacity, and reservoir reserves
• Develop reservoir models, injection strategies, and efficiency improvements
• Recommend pipeline, control system, and operational enhancements
• Manage and lead capital and operational projects from planning through execution
• Prepare technical reports, budgets, maps, and regulatory submissions
• Collaborate with plant operations, engineering teams, and external regulators
• Represent NCPA with regulatory agencies, technical committees, and industry groups
• Lead technical projects and troubleshooting efforts with minimal direction
• Optimize plant output and reduce operating costs
• Lead the most complex, multi-year, multidisciplinary engineering projects
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and performance oversight for staff
• Step into Plant Manager or O&M Supervisor roles as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Level IV: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred), 5+ years of power plant or production engineering experience, California Professional Engineer license (highly desirable)
• Level VB: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering plus Master’s in Reservoir Engineering, 6+ years of experience, preferably in geothermal or steam field operations, California Professional Engineer license (highly desirable)
