About the role

The Reserve Security Professional position involves monitoring and patrolling different client sites on various schedules. This includes actively monitoring and patrolling the premises to ensure a safe and secure environment, enforcing regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and the area, and providing customer service and information to clients.

Responsibilities

• Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, ensuring the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities and inspect protection devices and fire control equipment.
• Preserves order and enforces regulations and directives for personnel, visitors, and premises.
• Controls access to client site or facility through the admittance process; assists visitors with legitimate needs to gain entry; screens visitors and client employees efficiently.
• Maintains an atmosphere where client employees and visitors feel cared for; interacts courteously, respectfully, and pleasantly with clients and visitors.
• Monitors entrances and exits; prevents unauthorized or unlawful entry; controls entrances, movements of people and vehicles, and parking; operates gates and examines vehicle contents; monitors remote entrances using closed circuit television; operates remote access devices; directs individuals causing disturbances to leave the property.

Requirements

Essential functions include observing and reporting activities and incidents, making periodic tours, controlling access, and maintaining a safe environment. A flexible schedule and a background in retail, food service, or hospitality industries are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

Training will be provided for those without relevant experience. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a background check.

Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to enforce regulations, and a commitment to integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness are required.
