Reservations Agent
The Lodge at Primland, part of the Auberge Collection, is a year-round mountain retreat spanning 12,000 acres in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. The resort offers luxury accommodations, including cottages, Tree House suites, and rooms in the main Lodge, alongside amenities such as a championship golf course, wellbeing retreat, fitness center, observatory, and diverse culinary and outdoor adventure experiences.
About the role
As a Reservations Agent, you will craft bespoke guest experiences by handling inquiries about room reservations, availability, pricing, and special offers. You will resolve guest challenges in collaboration with other departments, ensure accurate billing and financial transactions, and upsell resort services to enhance guest stays.
This is a remote position available only for residents of FL, GA, NC, PA, SC, TN, or VA.
Responsibilities
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding room reservations, availability, accommodations, pricing, and special offers.
- Assist in resolving guest challenges and ensure follow-through to exceed expectations.
- Collaborate with guest service teams and other departments to address and resolve issues.
- Execute accurate and efficient billing and financial transactions on behalf of guests.
- Upsell resort services and educate guests about the full range of offerings.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in hospitality, spa, or reservations, preferably at a luxury resort.
- Ability to create professional business correspondence.
- Exceptional phone manner, gracious people and sales skills, and a positive engagement style with every guest.
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team with other departments and co-workers.
Pay
$18 per hour.
