Researcher, Education Labs

Responsibilities

• Design and run mixed-methods studies on AI skill development, focusing on capability growth
• Build and validate instruments and evaluation methods for research credibility
• Translate research insights into actionable product and program improvements
• Generate new insights on AI's effect on learning within communities and organizations
• Communicate findings through writing, prototypes, and presentations across the organization
• Develop tools using code for collecting validated metrics

Qualifications

• Research background in learning sciences, education, cognitive science, HCI, or educational psychology
• Strong mixed-methods skills in experimental design, measurement, and qualitative methods
• Hands-on technical skills in Python and data analysis sufficient for running analyses
• Comfort with ambiguous problem spaces and making research decisions with incomplete information
• Effective communication and experience collaborating across product, design, engineering, and research teams
• Curiosity about AI's impact on learning and a perspective on technology enhancing human capabilities

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to build reporting, surface trends, and translate analysis into action.
