Responsibilities

• Design and run mixed-methods studies to measure AI skill development
• Build and validate instruments to ensure trustworthy research findings
• Translate research insights into practical improvements for products and curriculum
• Generate insights on how AI impacts learning at a community level
• Create tools to collect validated metrics using coding and software

Qualifications

• Research background in learning sciences, education, cognitive science, HCI, or educational psychology
• Strong mixed-methods skills in experimental design, measurement, and qualitative methods
• Hands-on technical skills in Python, data analysis, and interaction with LLMs
• Ability to derive insights from imperfect and dynamically changing data
• Comfort with ambiguity and quick iterative learning loops
• Clear communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration
• Genuine curiosity about AI's impact on learning and capability
