Annual Salary Range

• $50,050 - $81,330

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field OR
• Bachelor's degree in related field and two (2) years of related experience OR
• Associate's degree in related field and four (4) years of related experience required OR
• High School diploma or GED and six (6) years of related experience required.

Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

• Related degrees: Biomedical, Chemistry, etc.

Skills

• Lab technique skills associated with working in a GSL2 Lab, including sterile cell culture work;
• Ability to separate human white blood cells into cell subsets;
• Cryopreservation of human white blood cells and the ability to perform in vitro culture of human cells;
• Knowledge and ability to work within our enterprise database system;
• Ability to multi-task, maintain records and filing systems, problem-solve, read and write, and be able to comprehend written and oral instructions;
• Ability to train others, use a personal computer and related software, work as part of a team, and work independently;

Responsibilities

• Triages and participates in the daily workflow of the lab;
• Data entry into our enterprise data system;
• Daily quality control checks;
• Assists senior lab members with equipment maintenance and inventory checks;
• Controls.

Experience in handling human blood, including the separation of cells and isolation of DNA/RNA, is preferred.
