Research & Writing Litigation Attorney

Are you a California licensed attorney with at least five years of civil litigation experience? Would you enjoy doing contract work for a law firm on your own schedule (either part-time or full-time)? Do you like working remotely (anywhere in the United States)? Do you have strong writing and motion practice skills? Do you enjoy drafting demurrers, injunctions, and/or summary judgment motions? If so, this contract litigation position may be the perfect fit for you.

Requirements

• 5+ years of legal experience in litigation
• Strong writing and motion practice skills
• Experience handling research and motions related to cases venued in federal and California state court
• Licensed in California
• Excellent academic credentials
• Outstanding references

About the role

• Type of role: Contract engagement
• Schedule: At least 30 hours per week (on average)
• Location: Remote (anywhere in the United States but must be California licensed)

Pay

The annualized compensation for this position ranges from $160,000 to $200,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay is based on numerous factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
