About the role
The Research Technician III provides technical support for research projects at the Biomedical Center by helping prepare biological samples and produce publication-quality microscopy images.
Responsibilities
- Cell and tissue processing for immunohistochemistry
- Operating digital microscopy imaging systems
- Managing image and data storage
- Maintaining accurate laboratory records and documentation
Requirements
- Familiarity with basic computational tools such as Microsoft Excel/Word
- Ability to work independently on projects related to biomedical research
- Ability to order reagents, keep laboratory records, and prepare laboratory stocks
- Proficiency with common laboratory equipment
- Strong organizational skills
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience: Requires bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience.
