Responsibilities
- Mouse husbandry/colony management with transgenic and conditional knock-out mice
- Maintain a database used for organizing the current inventory and tracking the location of specific information/specimens
- Collect and analyze data
- Monitor adherence to study protocol
- Inform PI of deviations from study protocol
- Attend project meetings
- Keep detailed records for experiments
- Maintain a high level of accuracy for all work
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Research Technician II: Bachelor’s degree in related scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience 2 years of experience working in a lab outside of school coursework
- All Minimum Qualifications Of Research Technician II, Plus: 5 years of experience working in a lab outside of school coursework (or equivalent combination of advanced degree and work experience)
Pay
- Research Technician II: The hourly pay range for this position is from $27.01 to $38.45 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
- Research Technician III: The hourly pay range for this position is from $33.42 to $50.12 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
