Research Technician II/III

Responsibilities

• Mouse husbandry/colony management with transgenic and conditional knock-out mice
• Maintain a database used for organizing the current inventory and tracking the location of specific information/specimens
• Collect and analyze data
• Monitor adherence to study protocol
• Inform PI of deviations from study protocol
• Attend project meetings
• Keep detailed records for experiments
• Maintain a high level of accuracy for all work
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Research Technician II: Bachelor’s degree in related scientific field or equivalent combination of education and experience 2 years of experience working in a lab outside of school coursework
• All Minimum Qualifications Of Research Technician II, Plus: 5 years of experience working in a lab outside of school coursework (or equivalent combination of advanced degree and work experience)

Pay

• Research Technician II: The hourly pay range for this position is from $27.01 to $38.45 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
• Research Technician III: The hourly pay range for this position is from $33.42 to $50.12 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
