Research Technician II, Cellular and Molecular Medicine (Full-Time)

About the Role

This position supports two roles with a 50/50 split between the Mouneimne lab and the Microscopy Shared Resource (MSR) at the University of Arizona Cancer Center.

Responsibilities

• Mouneimne Lab (Research Support):
  • Organize and catalog human and mouse tissue specimens
  • Perform histological staining and microscopy
  • Assist with laboratory experiments
  • Record and analyze data
  • Work closely with lab members and collaborators to support clinical and mouse studies focused on the role of mechanical conditioning in cancer progression
• Microscopy Shared Resource (Core Facility Support):
  • Support daily maintenance activities
  • Train users
  • Assist with data analysis
