About the role

The goal of the Bettelli Lab at the Benaroya Research Institute is to understand the cellular and molecular mechanisms underlying the development of autoimmunity and find means to limit them.

Responsibilities

  • Support and perform laboratory experiments on adaptive and innate immune cells using a variety of techniques including flow cytometry, cell culture, gene expression analysis, cytokine quantification, and immunohistochemistry.
  • Collaborate with other lab members and maintain detailed laboratory records.
  • Analyze data and report experimental results.

Qualifications

  • A BA/BS in a scientific field with research laboratory experience.
  • Experience working with mice and cellular and molecular biology techniques.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, accuracy, and ability to learn and grow within the role.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation: $24.05 to $34.15 per hour.
